Beautiful fall leaves can clog gutters and lead to water penetration to the foundation, basement and crawl space.

 A huge pitfall is not clearing leaves from gutters. Gutters work to move water away from the foundation. Maintenance is still required on a house that is listed for sale, or even vacant. Water that is not moved away can penetrate the foundation and lead to visible dampness, mold and water damage. These are red flags for home buyers!
